Akaroa Trip - Day 1

just exactly a week ago, 6 of us (me, andrew, john, steph, raenna and yin after got ffk by rachel with the excuse "i need to get my report checked!") went to akaroa for a 2 days 1 nite trip. the main purpose of the trip is french fest and chill out after the boring integrative week.

around 930 in the morning, we went 2 the car rental place nearby to pick up the car we rented and departed right after we met up with the other car.

Stopped by halfway of our journey for the breath taking scenery and photo taking :P

after around 1 1/2 hours journey..we finally reached the small town - Akaroa aka French Village. and straight away we checked in to the apartment that we have reserved before this.

Les Troupe

The apartment "Les Troupe" that we are staying. very nice and comfy. 2 storey apartment with 2 bedrooms and a huge livin room upstairs which is equipped with tv, dvd player, radio and nice sofa. connected to the living room is the kitchen which has everything that is needed in kitchen. u name it...they haf it ready there :P it costs 210 bucks for 6 ppl which is not tat expensive.

The next destination is definately lunch...since everyone is hungry. the apartment we staying is just at the centre of the city, so we need our car no more and walk around in the sunny day. we decided to eat in a fish n chips shop to try the famous "Akaroa Cod"

Our activity in the afternoon is goin for a 2 hours cruise called "Akaroa Dolphin" for the wildlife and scenery. The weather is pretty good as it's sunny, but it was still cold on the cruise aka boat and windy at the same time
