Time in Kuching!

cant believe that i'm oledi back here in kuching for 3 weeks. and just 2 more days i will be leaving and go back to christchurch to continue wif my busy and stressful life there. back at home is really great, when i dun haf to worry bout wad to cook the next day, what to study and how i did in my exam for the last attachment. but haf to be back to the reality very soon.

In these 3 weeks, i've been quite busy actually apart from eating, shopping and sleepin. the 1st week and so was used to prepare my eldest sister's wedding. spent a few nites making a slideshow video to be played during the wedding dinner. other than tat, also did some minor helping up stuff like preparing the door gifts, buying the guest book, get ready the music and stuff. it was a great wedding after all the hard work. now i understand why guys dont get as excited as girls when talk bout wedding. firstly, guys have to pay for most of the expanses for the wedding from the make up, present, ang pao, dinner and so on. besides, the groom will haf to get bullied by the bride's frens when he wanna get the bride...haf to do all the funny stuff just to get the bride. and oso...it's just tiring. not just the day itself, but the planning and preparation from months ago. aiyo...not easy le. hahaha! anyway, Congrats to my sis and my bro in law! wishing u guys a great future ahead!!

my whole family went all the way to sarikei - another town in sarawak for the wedding which is the home town of my mum and brother in law. it was about 5 hours drive from kuching town. we went there on friday morning, had rehearsal in the afternoon then the wedding on the next day. church service in the morning and dinner at night. after that came back to kch on sunday.

Sunday night we arrived in kch and had a farewell dinner wif my bro and the family...my sister in law and niece. they were leaving to glasgow as my brother is goin to study over there for 3 years. not goin to see them til then...my niece is onli 8 months old and she got to travel to UK...sigh! kids nowaday...haha! and also on sunday nite itself, i did some planning as a group of my frens coming to kuching for 3 days visit.

Monday afternoon, 7 of them - Hau chun, Hon lian, Gordon, Sze siew, Christina, Kexin, Chin pei arrived in kch. with the help of leonard, we went to pick them up from airport n started their trip in kch. it was really great to see they all again. the meeting wif them n time spent wif them reminded myself how much i miss my frens here in M'sia. i really enjoyed their visit and companies myself. the friends in Msia r just different from the ppl i meet in Christchurch. i dunno how to elaborate more on that. but mebe different culture and background, environment thingy, we just sort of having different types of thinking and therefore, we cant be tat close compare to ppl i meet in msia. busy life over there in christchurch sort of forcing myself to leave tat feeling behind and keep tat inside myself as i understand tat by having that feeling will not change the fact that we are goin to be at different places having different lives.

anyway...really appreciate ur visit guys...and hope to see u guys real soon. hope u all enjoy the trip...although it was quite tiring :) take carez!!
